On the occasion of the Environment Day, we organised the workshops outside the MKS (following the Nomadic MKS concept), in the open air in one of the busiest places in Santander, the Town Hall Square.
The participants brought clean plastic caps and bottles and transformed this garbage into valuable objects through participation and creative experimentation. (Precious Plastic concept). In the workshops, the manufacturing processes with recycled plastic were explained, performing the different stages of the recycling cycle: separation and classification of plastic waste, explanation of each of the handmade machines to be used (shredder, injector) so that participants could recycle their waste with these machines by shredding plastic waste and making objects with recycled plastic. The workshops were accompanied by facilitators from Pop Machina Santander Team.
