The Internet of Things

The Internet of things or IoT is a network of interconnected devices to deliver data via the internet. IoT is utilised in all aspects of life, from remotely adjust the temperature of our homes to the automation of manufacturing and distribution networks.

This course includes one lesson that aims to bring an understanding of the core IoT concepts, highlight the power of IoT and introduce some real-world applications. Also in this lesson there is an activity that will give you the opportunity to apply what you’ve just learnt by using IoT prototyping tools to design a simple IoT system.
